Car Parking in Venice

Hi guys!
So, yesterday we finished chapter number 3 of our guide: how to reach Venice and I thought we could share with you a couple of very important hints about car parking.
You see, there are lots of options when it comes to car parking, but most people don’t know them and end up in two or three parkings really close to the city center, but also really expensive.
If you arrive to Piazzale Roma in Venice (the closest place to Venice center that cars can reach) it may already be too late.
The parkings there are really comfortable but the prices range from 26 to 36€ per day. Quite a sum, huh?
The cheapest parking that is still close to Venice is “Parcheggio dello Scalo Fluviale” for 18€ per day and you can still reach the center of Venice by foot in 15 minutes.
But if you arrived by car, and you plan to stay in Venice for more than one day the best options are “Terminal Service” and “Park 2000”. You can find them in the map below.
The price difference is astonishing: only 4.50 and 5€ per day!
What’s the catch? You need to take a bus to reach venice, with the ticket price of 1.50€ per person. But as we said, if you stay in Venice for more than one day and you don’t plan on going back to your car (why shoud you?) this is the cheapest solution.
What bus can you take? Whichever passes nearby with direction Piazzale Roma. Remember that in Italy you should always get bus tickets before going on board, if you forget to do so you will be overcharged for a price of 2.50€ per person.
We hope this helps, but if you still have questions or troubles write us and we’ll answer you asap!
