Couchsurfing approval

A few days ago, we wrote a letter to Couchsurfing:

Hello dear couchsurfers 

I’m writing you because we would like to use the Couchsurfing logo in the cover of our guide, and we would also like to write a chapter about Couchsurfing in Venice.

 

The reason why we want to ask you this is that the idea for our project came directly from couchsurfing! We have hosted several guys who wanted to visit Venice, and we realized that they could have saved A LOT of time and money if only the knew some little tricks and hints, and if they payed a little more attention on things that are really not easy to understand, especially for people from outside Europe.

The idea is called “Italian Buddy” and will be released as a crowdfunding project on Indiegogo by the end of next January. We want to keep it as cheap as possible and we’ll focus on electronic version and mobile phone app to keep costs at minimum and make it easily affordable for everybody.

I am also attaching the cover of the guide (there are 2 versions). We would like to put your logo on the lower right corner.

Please let me know if you would like to read the chapter we wrote about Couchsurfing (I only need a couple of days to translate it in english), we would really love your feedbacks on that.

 

We really hope that you will accept our proposal and we also hope that together we can help couchsurfing tourists make their holiday in Venice easier and cheaper.
