Venice Carnival Events: Fatboy Slim

Yes, you read correctly.

If you’re around Venice or Mestre tomorrow 14th February, you might be in for a killer event. Fatboy Slim will be here for a kickass Carnival event.

Yeah I know it’s Valentine’s Day, but if you’re a group of friends who want to have fun, you don’t want to spend a romantic quiet evening with your GF/BF, or you complaining about the lack of nightlife in Venice, this the solution for you.

Fatboy Slim @ Rivolta – Venice

For the first time at Carnevale di Venezia, Fatboy Slim, who all of you know very well, will be playing at Rivolta club in Marghera – Venezia.

Concert starts at 22Pm with 2 opening acts and 4 warm ups. The price is 25€ online or 30€ at the gates.

How to reach Rivolta from Venice:

There will be special buses from Venice until everybody gets to Marghera where the club is.

You can take buses n° 6 – 6L and n°2 to Piazza Sant’Antonio in Marghera. From there it’s only a 5 minutes walk.

Alternatively, you can take also number 53 to Dolo or 82 to Chioggia, they stop in via Fratelli Bandiera in front of Rivolta.

You can also take the train and get down at Venezia Mestre. From there exit the station not from the front but from the rear exit. Then it’s a 10 minutes walk.

Details: the event is indoor. It’s quite an underground club but with a very big area. The only problem is that when it’s very crowded it tends to get a little dusty and smoky. There aren’t any place where to leave your jacket but there are kiosks where you can buy snacks or beers. Bring with you as less expensive stuff and money as you can.
